Ann Fishlock
c1813-1894
Ann was born in either Chilton Berkshire (as recorded in the 1861, 1871 and 1891 census records) or Hungerford Berkshire (as recorded in the 1881 census).
Ann “married” (No marriage record found!) John Fishlock, (a Bricklayer, born c1814 in East Woodhay Hampshire)
In the 1861 census Ann (44), John (46) and John’s father Thomas Fishlock (81), a Builder were recorded living in Newtown Thatcham.
The 1871 census records John (56), Ann (57) and a visitor Jas Phillips (11) living in Crowfield, Newtown, Thatcham.
In 1881 Ann (66) and John (63) were recorded living in Newtown Thatcham. In 1891 they were recorded living in Chapel Street Thatcham.
John died age 80 in 1894 he was buried on the 10th January in Thatcham Cemetery.
Ann died aged 81 on the 20th May 1894 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 23rd May
