Transciption: | SARAH ANN FIDLER DEATH OF MISS FIDLER The death occurred on Sunday of Miss Sarah Ann Fidler, at the ae of 83. She was daughter of the late Alderman Thomas Fidler, who took a prominent part in the civic life of the borough, and was Mayor in 1864. The deceased lady was a member of the Wesleyan Church choir the greater part of her life, being possessed of a deep contralto voice, which was also heard at concerts in her earlier years. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years. The funeral takes place today (Thursday) at the Newtown road Cemetery at 2.30pm |
