Lily Collins (1884 – 1884)
Louisa Collins (1897 – 1897)
Albert Collins was born in 1862 in Cold Ash, the son of William and Caroline, nee Willis, Collins. He married Mary Godwin in 1882. Mary was born in 1859 in Cold Ash, the daughter of John and Sarah, nee King, Godwin.
Albert and Mary had nine children (eight daughters and one son), Florence Emily (1882), twins Lily and Frederick (1884), Ada Mary (1886), Nellie May (1888), Edith Rose (1890), Ethel Maud (1892), Sarah Ann (1894) and Louisa (1897).
Sadly, Lily one of the twins died aged only 16 days in August 1884 and she was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 8 August.
The youngest daughter Louisa died aged only 6 hours in December 1897 and she was buried at Newtown Road Cemetery on 28 December 1897.
Albert and Mary continued to live in Newbury and both died while living at 37 Newtown Road, Albert on 8 August 1939 and Mary on 11 July 1930. They were buried in Shaw Cemetery, on 11 August 1939 and 15 July 1930 respectively.
