Deceased, (Henry Leader) had been an inmate of the Infirmary, leaving on Saturday, since which he had lodged at Mrs. Lane's, Northcroft lane. On Tuesday night, about half-past ten, a lodger named Townsend heard a moaning noise, and going upstairs found deceased in an aparently dying condition. Mr. Birch was sent for, but deceased was past human aid , for he died immediately afterwards. The verdict was death was caused by lung disease accelerated by want. |
