Transciption: | HELEN ELIZABETH THEODOSIUS The late Mrs Theodosius The death occurred suddenly on Saturday, at “St John’s” Greenham road, of Mrs Helen Elizabeth Theodosius. The deceased lady was the widow of the Rev. A T Theodosius, formerly vicar of Whitstable, Kent, and mother of the Rev. A W H Theodosius, formerly curate at St John’s Church, and of Mr A C Theodosius the Newbury auctioneer. He took a keen interest in the parochial work of St John’s, and was a Member of the Council of the Mothers’ Union. The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, the service being conducted by the Rev. F D Briscoe. The coffin had been taken to the church the previous night, when the Vespers were said, whilst at 7.30 yesterday morning, Requiem took place. The mourners were the Rev. W H Theodosius and Miss Theodosius (son and daughter), Mr and Mrs A C Theodosius (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs Earle, Mrs Wallich (sisters), |Mr and Mrs H C Bolingbroke (sister and brother-in-law), Miss Mollie Wallich (niece),Mr A F Theodosius (brother-in-law), Miss Mary Theodosius(sister-in-law), Mr and |Mrs Stanley Day (cousins). Floral offerings were made by Miss Theodosius, the Rev. A W Theodosius, Mr and Mrs A C Theodosius, Messrs. John and Michael Nailer, Mrs Earle, Mrs Bolingbroke and Mrs Wallich, Mr A F Theodosius and the Misses Theodosius, Mrs Wallich, Miss Mollie and Miss Joan Wallich, Mr and Mrs Charlie Theodosius, Mr and Mrs Harold Theodosius, Mr and Mrs Stanley Day, the Misses Day, Dr and Mrs Donald Day, Miss MRGRET Taylor, Mr and Mrs J Brindley and Roy, Mrs Cottrell, Mr and Mrs Dallimore, Miss Annie Goodchild, Mr and Mrs Goodchild, Mr and Mrs Goodenough and Bernard Goodenough, Mr and Mrs H C Hodge, Mr and Mrs Hobbs, Miss Ingram, Miss Kitching and Miss Wallich, Mrs J Liddle, the Rev and Mrs E de G Lucas, Mrs Medlicott, Mothers’ Union Newbury Branch, the Misses Manning, the 3rd Newbury Rangers, Miss Povey and Miss Pocock .Mr and Mrs A P Pickersgill, Miss Margaret Randolph, Mr ad Mrs Bernard Ramsey, the Rev. and Miss Stenning, Miss Steward, Mr and Mrs Spracklen, Miss Annie Smiley, Mrs Talmage. |

Arthur died in 1903 in Kent.
