Elizabeth Kent

Elizabeth Kent
She was born on 10 December 1808 to Charles and Ann Kent and baptised at the Wesleyan Chape.1, Northbrook Street, on 6 February 1809; no evidence to date of her early life. The 1861 census records she was a General Servant, aged 52 and unmarried, in the household of Isaac Westcomb(e), retired Builder, living at Windsor Cottage, West Street. She is recorded in the 1871 census, aged 62 years, living at No.6 Union Chapel Yard, blind yet a Domestic Servant and Cook. She then moved to No.5 Raymond's Almshouses, Newtown Road. She was buried on 22 December 1883 aged 74 years (in fact 75 years).
