ODDFELLOWS’ FUNERAL.- The funeral of James Titchmarsh took place yesterday, and being an Oddfellow was followed to the grave by members of the Order.
It would possibly not be fair to judge from the small following that the spirit of Oddfellowship was declining, as the number of members in the district was never larger than at present; still it is a circumstance which older members regard with regret that whereas formerly when the numbers were less, the attendance at the funeral of a deceased member was larger than usually occurs at the present time. |
