ODDFELLOWS' FUNERAL.
The members of the " Jack et Newbury " Lodge of Oddlellows followed the remains of Bro. E. Clayton, P.G. to the grave yesterday afternoon. The deceased, who was landlord of the " Rose and Thistle " Inn, died rather suddenly early on Sunday morning. Although his health had been failing for some time, his death was not expected, Mr. Clayton being apparently no worse on Saturday night.
Bro. H. J. Lucas, P.P.G.M., had charge of the funeral arrangements. |
