Recorder's Notes William Turner was born in Colnbrook, Bucks. He married Ann Maria from Shalbourne, Wilts. In 1851 they lived in Speen, Newbury where he worked as a Woollen Draper's assistant. Later he had his own Draper's & Tailor's shop employing 3 men and a boy in Woodborough Wilts. In old age, William & anna lived in St Batholomew's Almshouses, Argyle R, The City, Newbury. Their son, Caleb, is buried in plot P(G)7. Source: Ancestry records.
