Transciption: | WILLIAM CROCKER DEATH OF AN OLD POSTMAN
William Crocker, for many years postman from Newbury to Yattendon, died on Wednesday, and was buried yesterday, and but for the heavy rain his brother Oddfellows would have followed him to the grave, he being the oldest member but one in the “Jack of Newbury” Lodge.
Deceased was in receipt of a pension from the Post Office, and also from Christ’s Hospital
