William Everett
He was born c. 1803 in Wantage. In 1837 he married Mary Wright in Newbury. By 1851 he is a widower looking after 4 children: Emma (b. 1839); Ellen (b.1840); John (b.1842) and Mary (b. 1849). He is employed as a Hemp Dresser in Factory Yard. In the 1871 census, he is lodging with the Hill family in Thatcham; his occupation is Spinner. He died at Northcroft Lane, on 12 September 1879, aged 76 years, and he was buried on 15 September 1879.
