Mary Ann Pearce was born Mary Ann Prior, bap. 14 july 1805, Enbourne,
m. William Pearce 19 sept.1825 in thatcham.
William died 1845 and the children are shown in the workhouse in 1851. Mary Ann is a lodger in Newbury
In 1861 she is living with her son as a monthly nurse (looking after new mothers)
in 1871 she is a midwife
burial service at st Nicks. 27 ayg. 1874 aged 70 NB burial register gives 73 so she could have been baptised at 3
