THE LATE MR. T. STILLMAN
We have to record the almost sudden death of Mr. T. Stillman, which occurred early yesterday morning. Deceased had followed his usual business up to Tuesday, when he went to Hermitage, but felt poorly on the journey.

He arrived home about eight o'clock in the evening, and complained to his family about his head, and said he should retire to rest.

He was partly undressed when his daughter heard him fall in his room and appraised his neighbour, Mr. B. Smith, who immediately went and spoke to him. Mr. Stillman recognised his voice, but shortly after fainted.

Dr. Douglas arrived at once and pronounced the case hopeless. He never rallied, and expired about one o'clock on the following morning.

Deceased was born in May, 1809, and was in his 66th year. He had been in business several years as carpenter and builder.

This obituary entry is awaiting verification.
