HENRY BURSEY
 
THE LATE MR. H. BURSEY.
 
We have to record the death of M(r). H. Bursey, surgeon, of this town, which occurred at his residence Bartholomew-street, on Friday last, after about two months’ illness.
 
The deceased has practised in Newbury about 21 years, having held the appointment of medical officer of the First District of the Newbury Union the whole of that time, and also that of the Union Workhouse till within the last seven years.   He was also medical officer to several benefit societies in the neighbourhood.
 
He was 54 years of age, and member of the College of Surgeons (England), and was regarded as taking a high rank in his profession.
