The articles below contain information about William Langton.
William Langton
He was born c. 1791 in Newbury. In 1851 and 1861 his occupation is recorded as Bricklayer at St. Mary’s Hill, with wife Hannah and sons James (b.1836), Edwin (b.1838) and Alfred (b.1843). In 1871, aged 80 and a widower, he is living at Church Almshouses, his occupation Sawyer. He died aged 82 years and he was buried on 26 February 1873.
