Transciption: | The late Henry Hulbert. The death of Mr Hulbert took place at The Croft ,Portchester Road on Tuesday September 3rd after some months illness. The deceased had lived in Newbury about two years having removed from Kilburn. The interment took place at Newbury Cemetery on Saturday, the service being conducted by the Rector of Newbury. The Oak Casket with brass fittings had tablet with inscription: "Henry Hulbert, died 3rd September, 1918, aged 72 two years." The family mourners and friends who followed in four coaches where Mrs. Hulbert (wife), Mr. Ernest Grove (nephew), Mrs. Holsworth (Sister), Mr. Hulbert Grove (grandson), Miss Hulbert (Sister), Mrs. Gough (Sister-in-law), Miss Neate (cousin). Mr. W. P. Neate (cousin), Mr. H. S. Neate (cousin), Mrs H. S. Neate, Mr. H. Tompson, Mr. Bayspool, Mr. F. Lawrence. A number of floral tributes had been sent by friends. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs Windsor and Neate, Newbury Mr. E. J. W. Neate attending. |
