THE LATE MRS. W. WILEY
The death took place on Sunday 21st April, of Mrs. W. Wiley, of Mansion House Street, after a very short illness, caused by the shock of the death of her only son, who was killed in France just one month previously, viz. On the 21st of March.

The funeral took place on Wednesday 24 April, at the Newtown-road Cemetery, the officiating clergyman being Rev. F.S.H. Marle [?], curate of St. Nicholas Church.

The mourners were Mr. W. Whiley (husband), Mrs. F. Whiley (daughter-in-law), Mr. N. Whiley (father-in-law), Mrs. A. Wirdnam (niece), Mr. and Mrs. Brice Kimber, and Miss E. Green and Mr. H. Mosdell (assistants).

A number of wreaths were sent from the sorrowing husband, Mrs. F.W. Wiley, Mr. and Mrs. T. Kimber and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. Cox and John, Miss E. Green, Mr and Mrs. H. Mosdell, Mr. and Mrs. T. Curry, Mr. and Mrs F.Rivers, Mr. and Mrs. E. Strange, Mr. and Mrs. A. Poole and Ellen, Mrs. E. Thomas, and Mrs. Titcomb.
