Transciption: | KATE BOND To the great sorrow of her husband and family of six children, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends, the death occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 24th of Kate, wife of mr. Thomas Bond, of 54 Bartholomew-street. She had been a great sufferer for several years. The deceased, who was a native of Southampton, had been married for twenty-four years, and there are six children surviving. The funeral took place on Saturday at Newbury Cemetery, the service being performed by the Rev. J. Kinnish, and the interment being in a grave near her husband's mother.
The coffin was of polished English oak, with solid brass fittings and inscription- Mrs P p 115 LN(C)18 Died 24 January 1911 aged 43 Buried 28 January 1911 Bk 1899 p. 202 no. 8812 Also Thomas Bond husband, died 28 March 1944 aged 80 |
