Alfonso Arthur george Roberts
Alfonso Arthur George Roberts was born in 1907, the son of George Roberts and Eliza, nee Farmer . He married Beatrice Elizabeth Fisher and they lived at 5 Hampton Rd, Newbury until the date of his death . They had one child that died before/ during/ after ? birth . Alfonso was ill for many years before he died at home in 1943 from coronary thrombosis and congenital heart disease .
Information supplied by Eileen Barnes, nee Roberts . She remembers seeing him in bed downstairs in their tiny cottage which was probably not too long before he died . She was quite young at the time . Uncle fonse as her generation knew him was buried in Newtown Rd cemetery in 1943
