THE NEWBURY MINERAL WATER COMPANY
ALFRED COX (1868-1943) together with his brother FRANK COX 1878-1943) were sons of EDWARD COX (1841-1909) who founded the company in 1860.
Alfred's daughter Irene Cox (1896-1953) married Douglas Fox Cameron (1889-1966) a partner in the firm.
Douglas was a borough councillor (1943-53) and served as Mayor of Newbury (1952-53).
