(Stillborn) Partridge
Buried 30th November 1928
This child’s parents were Stanley Gordon and Beatrice Ethel Partridge (nee Ashfield), who were married in 1922 (marriage registered in Newbury)
The father, Stanley Gordon was born on the 5th April 1903, in Newbury, Berkshire, the son of Francis and Eliza Partridge (nee Griffin) who were married in 1896 (marriage registered in Newbury)
The mother, Beatrice Ethel was born on the 21st October 1903, in Newbury, Berkshire, the daughter of William and Sarah Ashfield (nee Cook)
Stanley and Beatrice also had the following children:
Lilian Rose, born 1922
A stillborn child born in 1929 (buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery)
Stanley Francis, born 1931
In 1928 Stanley and Beatrice were living at 7 Camp Close, Newbury.
By 1938 they had moved to 37 St Michael’s Road, Newbury.
The 1939 register records Stanley working for the G.P.O. (Telecommunication Lineman + Motor Lorry Driver., living at 37 St Michael’s Road, with Beatrice and their two children.
Stanley and Beatrice continued to live at 37 St Michael’s Road, Newbury until they died.
Stanley Gordon died in 1974, in Newbury
Beatrice Ethel died on the 10th September 1984, in Newbury
