  From top of headstone: In loving Remembrance of/ Charlotte/ the beloved wife of/ William Deacon/ who died Feb. 12th. 1886/ aged 67 years./ "Blessed are the Dead which die in the Lord, henceforth, yea saith the Spirit that they may rest from their labours./ Rest in the Lord, sweet word of Truth/ a word for Age, a word for Youth/ a word for all the Weary World/ a banner word by love unfurled. Also of/ William Deacon/ who died Aug. 9th. 1888/ aged 73 years. "Be ye also ready".
