Lucy was baptised on the 13^th February 1814, at St Barnabas, Peasemore, Berkshire, the daughter of John and Maria Stream (nee Walters/W aters) who were married on the 6^th April 1807, at St Barnabas, Peasemore.

Her father John was baptised on the 16^th January 1774, in Peasemore, the son of John and Jane Stream (nee Church) who were married in 1757 in Peasemore. John died aged 79 in 1851, he was buried on the 22^nd October, at St Barnabas, Peasemore.

Her mother Maria was baptised in 1785, in Peasemore, the daughter of Samuel and Lucy Walters (nee Grubb) who were married in 1772 in Childrey, Berkshire. Maria died aged 83 in 1867, she was buried on the 1^st February, at St Barnabas, Peasemore.

John and Maria also had the following children baptised in Peasemore:

Lucy had an illegitimate daughter, Ann, baptised at St Barnabas, Peasemore on the 19^th March 1837.

Groom: William Cullimore, full age, bachelor, occupation, Labourer

Bridge: Lucy Stream, full age, spinster,

Fathers: John Stream and Curteis (sic), both Labourers

Witnesses: Naomi Stream, James Hatt and George Deadman

(William was an Agricultural Labourer. He was baptised on the 9^th July 1815, in Peasemore the son of Ann Cullimore).

William and Lucy had the following children baptised in Peasemore:

Henry, 1839

Elijah, 1841

Caleb, born 1843 (no baptism found)

Jesse, 1845 (died aged 6, buried 22^nd April 1852, at St Barnabas, Peasemore)

Sarah, 1848 (died aged 1, buried 21^st January 1849, at St Barnabas, Peasemore)

Mary, 1850

George, 1852 (died aged 1 day, buried 18^th January 1852, at St Barnabas, Peasemore)

The 1841 census records William (25), Lucy (25), Ann (4) (born Ann Stream, now known as Ann Cullimore) and Henry (2), living in Peasemore Village, Berkshire.

The census for that year also records Lucy’s father John Stream (65), an Agricultural Labourer, her mother Maria (55), her brother Joseph (20), an Agricultural Labourer, her sister Ann (14), her brother John (10) and her nephew Charles Stream (6), (illegitimate son of her sister Naomi) living in Peasemore Village.

The family continued to live in Peasemore Village, census records as follows:

1851: William (35), Lucy (36), Ann (14), Henry (12), Elijah (10), Caleb (7), Jesse (5), Mary (1) and a cousin, Maria Cullimore (14).

1861: William (47), Lucy (46) and Mary (11)

1871: William (55) and Lucy (57)

Lucy was widowed in 1880. William died aged 65. He was buried on the 12^th December, at St Barnabas, Peasemore.

Both the 1881 and 1891 census records record Lucy living in Peasemore Village. In 1881 she was recorded aged 66, as a Linen Draper. In 1891 she was recorded aged 77, (mistakenly recorded as aged 17, on ancestry) her son Elijah (47) an Agricultural Labourer was recorded living with her.

Lucy died (age at death recorded as 89) in the Newbury Workhouse, on the 10^th April 1899, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 14^th April.
