ANOTHER OLD TOWNSMAN
Another old townsman has departed this week, Mr. Robert Arthur Taylor , dying at the venerable age of 81. Mr. Taylor, who was a native of Eling, near Hampstead Norris, for some years was in business in Swindon, and then removed to Newbury, where for about twenty years he conducted a chemist's shop in Bartholomew-street. Seven or eight years ago, owing to advancing years and failing health, he retired into private life, and for some months past his health has been very precarious.
He leaves a widow and seven children, four sons and three daughters. The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) at the Cemetery.
