Transciption: | GEORGE THOMAS JENKINS The funeral of the late Mr. George Thomas Jenkins, took place yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. the first part of the service being conducted at St. John's Church, by the vicar Rev. Robert Dunn, in the presence of friends and neighbours. The mourners were the widow, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins and Miss Jenkins, Messrs. J. and A. Jenkins. Wreaths were placed on the coffin by the relatives. The funeral was conducted by Mr. Hanington. Mr. Jenkins was a native of Thatcham, and was a tailor by calling, having been in business for over thirty-two years. For eighteen years be was verger at St. John's Church. and was formerly in the Parish Church Daily Choir and a teacher in St. Nicholas Sunday School. In later years Mr. Jenkins was an inmate of the Church Almshouses.
