There is no burial register information available for Sarah Ann Lynch.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Sarah Ann Lynch
c1823-1898
Sarah Ann was born in Reading Berkshire the daughter of James and Hannah Winter (nee Goddard) who were married on the 22nd November 1823 at St Nicolas Church Newbury. (Both were single. Hannah was recorded as Susannah on the marriage record)
Sarah’s father was born c 1798 in Wallingford Berkshire and was a Trunk Maker he died aged 70 in Newbury in 1864 and was buried in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th March.
Her mother was born c1804 in Newbury she died aged 54 in 1858 and was buried on the 1st April in the Newtown Road Cemetery.

In the 1841 census Sarah (15) was recorded living with her parents and two brothers, Thomas (12) and Henry (10) in Old Newtown Road Newbury a couple of doors away from her future husband, William Lynch.

William was recorded as a Shoemaker/Cordwainer in the census records 1841-1891 apart from the 1881 census which records him as a Bricklayer’s Labourer.
The 1851, 1881 and 1891 census records the family living in Old Newtown Road Newbury. The 1871 census records them living in Old Road and the 1861 census records them living in Bartholomew Street Newbury.
Sarah Ann died aged 73 on the 22nd June 1898 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25th June.
William died aged 74 on the 20th December 1899 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 23rd December.
The Memorial Inscription for William and Sarah Ann also records a son ---- Edward Lynch aged 30 died in 1916. This was not their son but their grandson Henry Edward Lynch born in 1886 who was the son of their son Henry Edward Lynch born in 1862.
