Henry Osmond
1821-1897
Henry was born on the 18th February 1821 in Hampshire (census records record Whitchurch Hampshire).
He married Eliza Davison (a widow, nee Culyer) in 1864 (marriage registered in Islington)
(Eliza was baptised on the 18th June 1815 in Long Stratton, Norfolk, the daughter of William and Mary Culyer. She married Robert Davison on the 23rd August 1836 in Islington).
In 1871 Henry (50) was recorded as a Retired Fruiterer, living in Cold Ash, Berkshire with Eliza (55) (surname recorded as Camond on ancestry)
The 1881 census records Henry (60), as an Annuitant, he was still living in Cold Ash, with Eliza (65).
By 1891 the couple had moved to 3 Carlisle Terrace, Newbury, Henry was recorded living on his own means, aged 70 and Eliza was recorded aged 75, in the census for this year.
Henry died aged 70 on the 29th December 1897, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 3rd January 1898
