There is no burial register information available for Emily Geater.

Emily Geater
1876-1897
Emily, her parents, siblings and early like:
Emily was born and baptised as Rhoda Emily. She was baptised on the 27th August 1876, in Wooton Hill, Hampshire, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Ayers (nee Kewell) who were married on the 25th September 1858, in East Woodhay, Hampshire.
Emily’s father William was baptised on the 10th September 1832, in East Woodhay, Hampshire the son of James and Anne Ayres.
Her mother Elizabeth was baptised on the 15th April 1838, in Kingsclere, Hampshire, the daughter of William and Sarah Kewel.
Elizabeth had a son William Ayers Kewell born in 1857.
William and Elizabeth also had the following children:

In 1861 William (28), an Agricultural Labourer, Elizabeth (24) and their children William (3), Alice (1) and a niece, Mary Ann Kewell (11), were recorded living in Back Lane, East Woodhay, Hampshire.
By 1871 William (39) was working as a Gardener, living in The Mount, Woolton Hill, Hampshire, with Elizabeth (36), William (13), a Gardener, Alice (11), Jane (9), James (7), Alfred (5), Harry (4) and Isabella (1).
Emily’s mother Elizabeth died aged 43 in 1879, she was buried on the 15th February, in Woolton Hill, Hampshire.
The 1881 census also records William (48) as a Gardener, living in The Mount, with his children, Jane (19), Isabella (11), Albert (9), Reginald (7) and Rhoda Emily (4).
Emily’s father remarried on the 23rd December 1890, at St Nicolas Church, Newbury. His 2nd wife was Elizabeth Geater nee Jones, the widow of George Geater who died earlier that year.
In 1891 Emily (14) (recorded as Rhoda Emily) was recorded living at 1 Howard Place, Newbury, with her father William (54), a Gardener, her stepmother Elizabeth (54), a Nurse and her nephew, Charles Henry Ayres (1). (Charles Henry was the illegitimate son of her sister Isabella. He was born 21st Nov. 1889, baptised 14th Feb.1891, at St Nicolas, Newbury).

(David Geater was born c1860 in Newbury, the son of George and Elizabeth Geater (nee Jones) who were married in 1856, in Whitchurch, Hampshire. He married Louisa Wilder in 1885 and was widowed on the 4th September 1895) David was Emily’s step-brother. His widowed mother Elizabeth Geater (nee Jones) married Emily’s widowed father William Ayres, in 1890, in Newbury).
David and Emily had a son, David, born in 1897, in Newbury.
Emily died aged 24, on the 5th August 1897, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery with David’s 1st wife Louisa, on the 9th August.

(Mary Ann Vincent was born in 1874, she was baptised on the 3rd May 1874, in Loxton Somerset, the daughter of William and Sarah Vincent (nee Bull) who were married in 1873, in Somerset. Mary married Alfred John Ayers on the 18th October 1893, in Horrington, Somerset. She was widowed in 1896. Mary Anne was the widow of Alfred John Ayers, the brother of David’s 2nd wife Rhoda Emily (aka Emily) Ayres).
Mary Anne gave birth to a son Edgar James, in 1901. She also had a stillborn child in 1904, who was buried in the NRC on the 1st February.
The 1901 census records David (41) as a Plumber and Locksmith, living and working in Sussex. He was recorded living at 143 Marina, St Leonard, Hastings, Sussex. Mary A. Geater (27) was living in Barton, Winscombe, Somerset, with her widowed mother Sarah Vincent (50), a Washerwoman and her stepson David (3)
In 1911 David (51) was recorded working as a Secretary for the Manchester Unity Oddfellows and Political Club. He was living at 1 Windsor Place, West Street, Newbury, with Mary (37) and two visitors.
The 1921 census records David (61), Mary Anne (47) and their son Edgar James (19), living at 3 Park View, Boundary Road, Newbury. David was recorded working as a Secretary for the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows, Friendly Society. Edgar was recorded as a Mathematical Student.
By 1932 David and Mary Ann were living at 19 Chard Road, St Budeaux, Plymouth, Devon. David died on the 25th May 1932, in Plymouth.
David died aged 72, on the 25th May 1932, in Plymouth Devon
Mary Ann died aged 84, on the 24th November 1958, in Hereford
