WILLIAM CHARLES HOLLISTER
DEATH OF MR. W.C. HOLLISTER SIXTY YEARS AN ODDFELLOW
The death of Mr. W.C. Hollister, of Prospect-place, St. John's road, Newbury, removes a well-known figure from the town. "Charles" will be missed by a number of people. He was a familiar figure, until recent years at local football and cricket matches, and he was an ardent supporter of the Westwood cricket Club, whose fixtures he followed weekly during last season's play. Mr. Hollister had many old friends in the Oddfellows, having been a member for more than sixty years. He passed peacefully away after a few hours' illness on March 30th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wood, with whom he had lived since the death of his wife thirteen years ago. He was aged 86 years.
