THE LATE MR FREDERICK FLOWER — The death took place rather suddenly on Saturday, of Mr Frederick Flower, of Oxford-terrace. Mr Flower had been in failing health lately and under medical treatment, but on Saturday, drove to Reading, attended the market, transacted his usual business, and drove back in the evening. On his return home he did some book-keeping, but subsequently was taken ill and died shortly before 11 o'clock. Mr Flower was the son of the late Mr Frederick Flower, of Hollington farm, Woodhay, and was well known in agricultural circles, being a regular attendant at Newbury, Reading and Hungerford markets. For some seven years he was manager of the Dunn and Town Mills, Hungerford, and about ten years ago came to Newbury and succeeded to the corn-dealing business of Mr Westmacott, which he has carried on ever since. The funeral took place on Tuesday at Newbury Cemetery.
