William Henry Belcher was initiated into The Hope Lodge on 1st Nov. 1878. the same year that Goerge Mitchell Knight was master and Arthur William Stradling was also initiated. W H B was made master himself on the 2nd Jan. 1885 at the same meeting that Herbert Edward Jackson was initiated and on the 6th Nov. in the same year Arthur Webb Neate was initiated
