FRANCIS FRAMPTON

THE LATE MR. FRAMPTON

Amongst the many recent removals by death is that of Mr. Francis Frampton, who expired at his residence in Craven street on Friday. Mr. Frampton, who was 58 years of age, was a representative of a Wiltshire family well-known in agricultural circles, and himself was for many years one of the principal farmers of this district, occupying Crux Easton Farm and subsequently Pentclose Farm, but lately has resided in Newbury.

He was also actively identified with the Newbury Chamber of Agriculture during the period of its existence.

The funeral took place on Tuesday at the Cemetery, the burial service being conducted by the Rev. R. Dunn. The mourners were Mr. F. Frampton, of Aldbourne, brother, Mr. Bailey Mason, Master Frank Frampton, (son), and Mr. S. Knight, jun. Several wreaths and crosses were sent by relatives and friends.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Hanington, of Northbrook-street.
