Death of Mrs. Harry Lipscomb
The greatest sympathy is felt for Mr. Harry Lipscomb, of Arthur Road, Newbury, son of Mr. E. Lipscomb, of Oxford-road, in the sudden death of his wife yesterday (Wednesday). She was 24 years of age, and had been married only just over twelve months.
About a fortnight ago she was taken ill following the birth of a child, and received treatment at Reading Hospital. She was discharged from there last week and appeared to be making good progress, but yesterday, when her husband came home at mid-day, she had a turn for the worse, and died shortly afterwards.
Mr. Harry Lipscomb is a popular member of the Newbury Town Football Club, the players and supporters of which will extend to him their condolences in his sad bereavement.
