There is no burial register information available for Percy Albert Young.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Percy Albert Young
1890-1890
Percy was born in Newbury, Berkshire the son of James and Caroline Young (nee Adams, (later known as Bradfield, see below) who were married on the 3rd November 1870 at St Nicolas Church Newbury.
Percy Albert died aged 6 hours old, he laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 3rd October 1890.
Percy’s family:
His mother Caroline was baptised on the 30th April 1848 at St Nicolas Church Newbury the daughter of Sarah Adams, a spinster. (Her mother Sarah married James Bradfield in 1853 and Caroline was then known as Caroline Bradfield, although she married as Caroline Adams).
His father James was born c1847 in Greenham, the son of James and Mary Young (nee Wiggins) who were married on the 11th August 1839 in Thatcham, Berkshire. He worked as a Bricklayer’s Labourer and a Bricklayer.
Caroline gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, Sarah c1869 (birth registered as Sarah Bradfield).
James and Caroline also had the following children:

Alfred Edward 1885 (died aged 21 in 1906, buried in the NRC on the 7th August.)

The 1871 census records his mother Caroline (23), his father James (26) and his half-sister Sarah (2) living in at 2 Lewis’s Buildings, Bartholomew Street, Newbury.The 1881 census records the family living in Bartholomew Street, Newbury.
In 1891 the family were recorded living at 9 New Square, Newbury.
The 1901 census records the family living in Clare Place, Newbury.
His mother Caroline died aged 57 in 1905, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 18th April.
His father James remarried in 1907, his 2nd wife was a widow, Harriet Matilda Bellinger (nee Alway, widow of Henry Bellinger).
In 1911 James and Harriet were recorded living separately. James (64) was recorded as a Bricklayer, living with his married daughter Sarah Hosier and her family in Derby Road, Newbury. Harriet was recorded aged 59, living at 8 Trafalgar Place, Newbury.
James died aged 68 on the 8th February 1916, his obituary records that he had been living with his daughter Mrs A Hosier (this was Sarah Bradfield his step-daughter who married Alfred Thomas Hosier in 1894) for about 8 years. There was no mention his wife Harriet attending the funeral.
Harriet Matilda Young died aged 79 in 1931 (death registered in Newbury)
