There is no burial register information available for Mary Dance.

Mary Dance
c1823-1890
Mary Archer was born in Dunley Hampshire, the daughter of Benjamin and Maria Archer (nee Puzey/Peuzey) who were married on the 17th December 1815 in Litchfield, Hampshire.
In 1851 Mary was recorded as a Servant, she was visiting her married sister Hannah Stennings and her family in Mill Street, Bow, Middlesex.

Groom: Charles Dance, aged 20, bachelor, occupation, Labourer
Bride: Mary Archer, aged 30, spinster
Fathers: William Dance and Benjamin Archer, both Labourers
Witnesses: Eliza Dance and Joseph Marshall
Charles and Mary had the following children:
Edward Charles c1854 in East Woodhay Hampshire
William Joseph 1855 in Speen, Berkshire
Francis Thomas c1858 in Speen Berkshire
The 1861 census records Charles 29 as a Brewer’s Labourer living in Lewis’s Buildings, Newbury with Mary (39) and their children Edwin (7), William (5) and Francis (3).
They were still living in Lewis’s Buildings in 1871, Charles (40) was working as a Labourer and Mary (49) was working as a Cook. Only William (15) and Francis (13) were still living at home with them.
The 1881 census records Charles (50) as a Labourer, living in Bartholomew Street, Newbury, with Mary (60) and their son Edwin (27) a Labourer (recorded as Edward).
Mary died aged 67 on the 6th June 1890, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 9th June
Charles (57) was recorded living in Percy Place Newbury in 1891, he was working as a General Labourer.
The 1901 census records Charles (70) as a Labourer (Nightwatchman), living with his married son Francis Thomas and his family at 17 Spondon Road, Tottenham.
He was still living in Tottenham in 1911 (24 Pembroke Road) but was now living alone. He was recorded as a Brewer’s Labourer/Old Age Pensioner in the census for this year.
Charles died aged 87 in 1915 (death registered in Edmonton)
