There is no burial register information available for Richard Lovelock.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Richard Lovelock
c1836-1890
Richard, his parents, siblings and early life:
Richard was born in Lambourn Berkshire, the son of Richard and Elizabeth Lovelock (nee Carter) who were married in Lambourn in 1825.
His father Richard was an Agricultural/Farm Labourer, he was born c1800 in Burbage Wiltshire, the son of William & Elizabeth Lovelock. He died aged 86 in 1885 in Lambourn
His mother Elizabeth was born Lambourn c1802 the daughter of Thomas & Mary Carter. She died aged 44 in Lambourn in 1849.
Richard and Elizabeth also had the following children (all born in Lambourn):

In 1841 Richard (4) was living in Newbury Street, Lambourn with his parents and siblings.
The 1851 census records Richard (14) as a Plough Boy, living in Newbury Street with his widowed father and his sister Elizabeth (18).
Richard in later life:
In 1861 Richard (20) was working as a Farmer’s Carter and was lodging at the Steamer’s Beer House, Cheap Street, Newbury.
He married Ellen Smith in December 1861 at St Mary’s Church Greenham, Berkshire.
(Ellen was born c1844 in Kingsclere Hampshire, the daughter of William and Sylvia Smith (nee Piper) who were married in Kingsclere in 1841. In 1861 the Smith family were living in Stroud Green, Greenham).
Richard and Ellen had the following children (all births registered in Newbury):

**************Phoebe has been recorded as Richard and Ellen’s daughter in the census records but on Phoebe’s birth registration there was no mother’s maiden name recorded which would indicate that the child might have been illegitimate so possibly their granddaughter.
In 1871 Richard (34) Ellen (30) and their children Harriet (8), Elizabeth (3), Richard (3) and William (1) were living in Greenham Mills, Newbury. Richard was working as a Labourer.
The 1881 census records Richard as a Labourer, living in Ecchinswell, Hampshire with Ellen and their children Elizabeth (15), William (11), Walter (9), Albert (6), Thomas (4) and Henry (1).
Richard died of Pneumonia aged 52 on the 25th March 1890 in West Mills, Newbury, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 29th March
In 1891 Ellen (50) was recorded as a Retired Laundress living at 3 Craven Court, Bartholomew Street, Newbury with her children Richard (22), William (20), Albert (16), Thomas (14), Henry (13), Phoebe (4) and Frederick (1) (recorded as Alfred). The eldest five boys were recorded as Agricultural Labourers.
The 1901 census records Ellen living in Brixton Rise, Newbury with her children Thomas (24) a Miller (Flour), Phoebe (14) and Frederick (11).
In 1911 Ellen (69) and her son Frederick (21), a Grocer’s Porter, were living at 3 Vine Cottages, West Mills, Newbury.
Ellen died of a Cerebral Haemorrhage, aged 71, on the 19th October 1915, at 3 Vines Cottages, West Mills, Newbury.
