FUNERAL OF MR. T. PETHER
On Monday last the remains of the late Mr. T. Pether, of the “George and Dragon” Inn, were interred at Newbury Cemetery, many sorrowing friends were present, including several innkeepers, and a deputation of the Newbury Rural Sports Committee, who, amongst other friends, sent a handsome wreath.
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. H.S. Hanington, of Newbury.
