Transciption:	MARY COUZENS A SALVATION ARMY FUNERAL The funeral of two members of the Salvation Army, Mr. Bristow, of Ashdown-court, and Mrs.Cousins, of Kennett-place, was held yesterday afternoon, and as such an occurrence had not previously taken place in Newbury, the streets were crowded with spectators. The coffins, each covered with a black pall, were conveyed on handbiers, and the funeral procession was headed by the standard-bearer bearing aloft the flag of the corps, together with the band, which was strengthened by several additional instrumentalists. There were about 50 members of the corps in the procession, who, led by the band walked slowly en route to the Cemetery, singing appropriate hymns, such as " Welcome Home , " In the sweet by and bye," " Home, sweet Home," and others. On arriving at the Cemetery the coffins were borne direct to the graves, which were in clam contiguity , and one of the officers conducted the burial service.
