1871 Census Old Road Bricklayer Wife Sarah 3 sons Charles ( blacksmith) , Thomas and Alfred
1881 Census Old Newtown Road Wife Sarah 3 sons, Thomas, Alfred and James (all bricklayers)
Burial Service recorded as St John's, Newbury but parents and wife and son buried in Newtown Road Cemetery. We know that all those who had a service at St John's are buried in NRC.
