Recorder's Notes | Charles, Edith & Ethel were 3 of 7 children born to Charles Ive of Hampton Wick, Middlesex, & Emma, nee Lines d. of a shepherd of Eydon Northants. The Ives came to Newbury after marrying at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London in 1870 & owned a butcher's shop at 82, then 43, Northbrook St. & 4 acre farm until his retirement & move to Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey by 1891. After Charles Arthur's death, they had another son whom they named Charles Arthur (1875-1950). |
