There is no burial register information available for James Walter.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

James Walter
c1810-1888
James was born in Woolhampton Berkshire. He married Mary Pegg on the 22nd April 1820 at St Nicolas Church Newbury, both were widowed and James was recorded as being from Woolhampton. Mary was born c1796 in Newbury.
James and Mary had at least two children, Eliza c1830 and William c1834
James was recorded as a Bricklayer on all census records.
The family were recorded living in Northcroft Lane Newbury in both the 1841 and 1851 census.
Mary died aged 60 in 1855 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 30th April.
James was again recorded living in Northcroft Lane in 1871. In the 1881 census he was recorded living in the Rose & Thistle Yard Northcroft Lane.
James died on the 14th March 1888 (GRO website records age at death 78) he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 20th March
