There is no burial register information available for William Dewe.

William Dewe
c1811-1888
William was born c1811 in Berkshire he was baptised on the 8th December 1811 in East Garston and was the son of Thomas and Mary Dewe (surname spelt Dew on baptism record). William was an Agricultural Labourer, he married Elizabeth Marshall (born c1821 Lambourn Berkshire) in 1846 (marriage registered in KIngsclere) and they had the following children (all births registered in Newbury):

The family were recorded living in Chieveley, Field Farm (1851), Bradley Field Farm (1861), Down Farm (1871) and Down End (1881).
By 1888 William and Elizabeth were living in Newbury. William died aged 77 on the 2nd March 1888 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 8th March.
In both the 1891 and 1901 census records Elizabeth was recorded living with her son William at 1 Carlisle Terrace, Newbury (a Shop), William was a Grocer/Coal Merchant and Elizabeth was recorded as a Grocer’s Assistant in the 1891 census. She died aged 81 in 1901 and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 1st May
