Mary Elizabeth Hall
c1864-1888
Mary Elizabeth was born in Newbury she was the daughter of James and Elizabeth Ann Hall (nee Brown) who married in Newbury in 1852. James was born c1826 in Greenham and was an Iron Moulder. Elizabeth Ann was born c1834 in Shaw Berkshire.
James and Elizabeth Ann also had the following children:
Emily 1856 (died aged 9 in 1865 buried on the 2nd August in the NRC)
Phillip 1858
Walter James 1861
The family were recorded living at 10 Carnarvon Terrace (1861) and 2 Edwards Cottages St John’s Road Newbury (1871, 1881 and 1891).
Mary Elizabeth died aged 24 on the 25th February 1888 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 3rd March.
Mary’s mother died aged 59 in 1892 she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 17th February.
In 1901 Mary’s father was living with his widowed sister-in -law Susan Hall at Rose Cottage West Street Newbury.
Mary’s father died aged 75 in 1902 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 15th February.
