Reginald Parfitt
1885-1887
Reginald was born on the 21st February 1885 in Newbury he was the son of Edwin Richards and Mary Ann Parfitt (nee Patterson) who were married on the 22nd October 1877 in Holt Norfolk. Edwin was a Brewer/Wine and Corn Merchant and a Licenced Victualler, he was born c1841 in Thornford Dorset and Mary Ann was born c1856 in Holt Norfolk.
Edwin and Mary Ann also had the following children:

Sydney Albion Edward 1880-1882 (buried 2nd Nov 1882 in Holt Norfolk)
Mary Rosina 1883
Herbert Melmouth c1886
Twins: Albion and Theresa 1887
Charles Louis 1893-1894
Sometime between 1883 and 1885 the family moved from Norfolk to Newbury as the births for Reginald, Herbert and the twins were all registered in Newbury.
Reginald died aged 23 months in 1887 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 7th February.
His brother Albion died aged 3 months on the 21st January 1888 he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 24th January.
By 1891 the family had moved to Swindon and were living at 53 Avenue Road in 1891 and Westcott Place in 1901.
The 1911 census records Edwin as an Innkeeper at the Bakers Arms Emlyn Square Swindon.
Edwin died aged 77 in 1919 in Swindon.
In 1939 Mary Ann was living on “Own Means” with her married daughter Theresa Corbett and her family in Farren Road Birmingham Warwickshire. She died aged 93 in 1950 in Birmingham.
