Charles their son/ died October 21st 1857/ aged 6 months. Also of Esther wife of Charles Webb/ who died March 9th 1863 aged 26 years Also of Eliza wife of Charles Webb/ who died December 3rd 1865 aged 31 years. Also of Charles Webb who died March 25th 1910 aged 84 years. Also of Mary widow of the above died February 27th 1921 aged 84 years Alfred son of Charles and Esther Webb died April 12th 1863 aged 4 months ILMO Martha/ 7th daughter of John and Susan Webb/ who passed away in sleep June 27th 1893/ aged 21 years/ "to fall asleep is not to die/ To dwell with Christ is better life" Also of Susan, wife of John Webb/ who died December 17 1895 aged 61 years. Also of John Webb who died October 19th 1903 aged 70 years/ And of Sarah, daughter of the above/ who died March 10th 1912 aged 46 years. Hetty Katharine Rayer Webb
1875-1934
Hetty was born in 1875 in Beedon Berkshire she was the youngest child of John & Susan Webb (nee Brooks) who were married in Newbury in 1856. Her father was a Grocer.
Hetty’s siblings were:

In 1881 Hetty was living with her parents and siblings at Portland Place Newbury.
In 1891 at the age of 15 she was living with her sisters Elizabeth and Mary who were in partnership running a boarding school for girls in Portland Place London Road Newbury, her parents having moved to 50 Northbrook Street.
In 1901 Hetty was living with her widowed father John at 50 Northbrook Street but by 1911 she was back living in Portland Place, with her widowed brother Samuel and sisters, Sarah, Ellen and Florence.
Hetty died aged 58 on the 16th July 1934 at Ingleside Nursing Home and was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 19th July

WEBB Hetty Katharine Rayer otherwise Hettie Katharine Rayer of Stanmore Donnington-square Newbury Berkshire spinster died 16th July 1934 at the Ingleside Nursing Home St John’s-road Newbury Probate Oxford 17th August 1934 to Frank Guthrie Webb bank manager and Ellen Edith Webb spinster. Effects: £2133 17s 3d
