Recorder's Notes | MI seriously at AT RISK due to frost weathered East face of headstone. Thomas was an agricultural labourer, living in Shefford & Elcot. The Giles family (bricklayers) were from Stroud Green, Greenham. Burial register gives age of William Albert as 4 months and of Ann Maria, of Ward's Building Greenham, as 79. Albert George Giles was bought up by his grandparents, Elizabeth & Richard Giles of Stroud Green. He was in the Royal Marine Light Infantry in Walmer, Kent aged 18 (18 census).
