Doris Olga was born in Walsall, Staffordshire, the daughter of Robert Claude Frederick and Susan Ann Tamlyn (nee Howell) who were married in 1893 (marriage registered in Dudley)

He father Robert was born c1861 in Walsall, the son of Robert Dullam and Helen Tamlyn (nee Jones) who were married in 1849 in Wolverhampton.

Her mother Susan was born c1861 in Edgeware, Middlesex, the daughter of Robert and Ann Howell (nee Poysell) who were married on the 6th November 1855, in Forest Gate, Essex.

Doris Olga’s siblings were:

Helen Isabel Maude born c1894

Florence Evelyn Ann born 1897

Robert Claude Henry born 1903

The 1911 census records Doris (10) living at 13, Hargreaves Street, Wolverhampton, with her father Robert (50), a Painter & Decorator, her mother Susan (50) and her sisters, Helen (17), a Biscuit Factory Packer, Evelyn (14), a Pawnbroker’s Assistant and her brother Claude (7).

Doris married Albert Arthur Osbon in 1931

(Albert Arthur was born on the 9th August 1903 in Dartford, Kent, the son of Arthur Albert and Elizabeth Osbon (nee Hammond) who were married in 1897 in Dartford).

Doris Olga died aged 33 on the 29th March 1934, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 4th April.

Albert remarried in 1937 (marriage registered in Birmingham), his 2nd wife was Ivy Constance Geeson (birth registered as Constance Ivy Geeson, in 1906 in Melton Mowbray). They had a daughter born in 1938, in Newbury.

In 1939 they were living at 148, Kings Road, Newbury.

Albert Arthur Osbon died in 1977 (death registered in Newbury)

Ivy Constance died in 1980 (death registered in Cheltenham)
