There is no burial register information available for Hannah Tardiff.
Only three of the five burial register books still exist as far as we know and these are held at the Berkshire Record Office.
Stillborn children were not recorded in the burial register, only in the cemetery accounts.

Hannah Tardif
c1830-1885
Hannah was baptised on the 31st January 1830 in Hampstead Norreys, Berkshire, the daughter of Francis and Charlotte Burgess (nee Cooper) who were married on the 14th July 1821 in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
Her father Francis was a Carpenter. He was baptised on the 23rd November 1794 in Hampstead Norreys, the son of John and Anne Burgess. Francis died on the 17th May 1877 in Little Hungerford, he was buried on the 21st May at Holy Trinity, Hermitage, Berkshire.
Her mother Charlotte was baptised on the 20th February 1798 in Hampstead Norreys, the daughter of John and Sarah Cooper. Charlotte died in 1876, she was buried on the 2nd February at Holy Trinity, Hermitage.
Francis and Charlotte also had the following children baptised in Hampstead Norreys:
John 18th September 1821 (died soon after birth, buried 5th November 1821 at St Mary Hampstead Norreys)
Elizabeth 16th February 1823
Sarah 4th April 1824 (died in 1826, buried 12th June at St Mary Hampstead Norreys)
Ann 25th November 1825
John 30th March 1828
Harriett 22nd July 1832
Henry 16th March 1834
Alfred 29th November 1835
Edwin 1st April 1838
In 1841 Hannah (11) was living in Little Hungerford, Hampstead Norreys with her parents Francis (40) and Charlotte (40) and her siblings Elizabeth (15), John (13), Harriet (9), Henry (7), Edwin (3)
The 1851 census records Hannah (21) as a House Servant at Oxford Villa, Oxford Road North, St Mary, Berkshire.
The next record found for Hannah is the 1871 census which records her married to Jean Baptiste Tardif, a Hairdresser/Barber. They were living in Speenhamland, Newbury, Berkshire with their children Charles Martell Green (8) (recorded as Jean’s stepson) Eliza (5), Charlotte (3), Jean Baptiste (1) and Marie (3months).
Jean and Hannah possibly married in Port Elizabeth, Cape Colony, South Africa as records show the two eldest children were born there.
Charles Martell Green born c1863 in Cape Colony, Fort Elizabeth, South Africa (possibly Hannah’s son from a previous marriage)
Eliza M Norton Tardif born c1866 in Cape Colony, Fort Elizabeth, South Africa
(No marriage found for Hannah and a Mr. Green or Hannah and Jean yet!)
Their other children were all born in Newbury:
Charlotte Elizabeth Tardif born 1868
Jean Baptiste Tardif born 1869
Marie Euphemia Tardif born c1871
Alfred Euin Tardif born c1873
Their daughter Charlotte died aged 12 in 1880, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 25th October.
The family were still living in Speenhamland when the 1881 was taken.
Hannah Tardiff died aged 55 in 1885, she was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 9th January.
Jean Baptiste Tardif died aged 52 in 1886, he was laid to rest in the Newtown Road Cemetery on the 3rd July.
