First West Berkshire Heritage Roadshow

Good networking opportunity

Sixteen organisations concerned with local history and heritage displayed their wares last Saturday (16th April) at the first event of its kind hosted by West Berkshire Museum. Most of the visitors to the Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery stand were from other exhibiting organisations but this gave us a great opportunity to update each other on current research and activities.

If West Berkshire Council decides to repeat the event next year let's hope that more promotion and publicity will bring us members and volunteers to help us with the work we do.
