Finding the Boss!
Friends help find a grave
Dear Frends of Newtown Road Cemetery: This is to thank you for the help given to me during my search for the history of my family in Newbury. More than a year ago I contacted Sandra Copas and she verified that Simon (Boss) Taylor had a grave at Newtown Road Cemetry. I was planning a trip to the UK and decided to try to find the grave of my Great Grandfather Simon Taylor. Through Maureen Hudd, your secretary, and Rosalind Clow, I met Doug.Larsen at the cemetry chapel, on May the Eighth, and he directed me to the grave.
More and more overseas visitors are using our website. This was an occasion where we were successful in finding this American visitor's family grave |
